The Client
Local Flavor is a social networking site for restaurants and consumers focused on increasing brand awareness and loyalty by giving consumers what they want most: Cash.
Founded in 2010, Local Flavor is currently live in Atlanta with other cities planned in 2011.
The Challenge.
As a startup, Local Flavor had a lot of challenges to consider: Time to market, technology risks, cash constraints and lack of internal resources. A strategic partner was needed that could fit in this tiny window of opportunity. Given the highly novel nature of a startup, a partner needed to be able to think on their feet and be willing to accept change.
The Solution.
Premier Logic was chosen to deliver the product specifications that would drive later product initiatives and the patent filing. Created primarily on Microsoft’s .NET and riding on Microsoft’s cloud platform Azure, Premier Logic created a comprehensive architecture that bridges banking (ACH), credit card processing, business automation and credit card fulfillment.
The Results.
Premier Logic created the product design specification that was ultimately used for the patent filing for the company. This product specification carried into the first version of the product and then a second, the version that you now see live on the site.
